A continuous flow of investment

DS Smith Paper is part of DS Smith Plc. The financial strength of our Group means we can invest continuously in all of our papermaking facilities.

In 2009, DS Smith Paper invested over £100m to purchase and rebuild PM6 at Kemsley Mill to make lightweight CCM papers. This is the only UK-based production of lightweight CCMs.

DS Smith recently announced its decision to invest in White Top Test Liner production, which will utilise the white recycled pulp also made at Kemsley. This new product is expected to be of the highest quality, providing a cleaner, whiter and brighter liner paper than any equivalent product.
